Our choice to invest in aquaculture was based on the realization of its substantial growth potential, with minimal external investment being directed toward it. While we were aware of the environmental challenges associated with aquaculture, we also observed instances of highly sustainable practices being implemented and fetching a premium in high-end markets. This led us to envision the possibility of scaling these solutions for more eco-friendly feed ingredients, improved disease management, and more efficient feeding methods, ultimately achieving a high level of sustainability in a cost-effective manner for everyone.

Revamping an entire industry necessitates a comprehensive redesign of its constituent parts and how they interconnect. Given that much of the growth in the aquaculture sector lies ahead, and recognizing that better practices benefit us all, we view this redesign as not only feasible but also welcome. The imperative to get it right is upon us, and the time for action is now.

Our investments span the globe, encompassing every aspect of the value chain. We are eager to collaborate with like-minded partners who share our vision for an ideal aquaculture industry and embrace a cooperative and open approach.

To demonstrate the viability of this system on a global scale, our goal is to build a portfolio consisting of 15 to 25 companies dedicated to innovative solutions in aquaculture.
